Anytime is Tee Time

Aiken County plays a major role in the history of golf. Having the nation's 5th oldest course (Palmetto Golf Club) and the first to offer women's tees (Aiken Golf Club, above right) are two interesting facts of Aiken County. History encompasses the west boundary in North Augusta at The River Golf Club, (above left), where remnants of the world's longest steam engine railway, the Best Friend, are subtle reminders of an era gone by.
