Aiken County property owners may now pay vehicle and property
taxes securely online using the County's new eGov
Services Center. You must allow two business days for posting to the Aiken County tax system. (Payments for delinquent taxes must be made
directly to the Delinquent
Tax Collector's office, and must be made by cash, cashier's
check, or money order).
Delinquent Real Property Tax bills must be paid through the Delinquent Tax Collector's office.
Because of credit card processing fees and other costs, the County is charging a convenience fee of 2.5% on any payments made online. This fee is calculated and shown on the screen before the taxpayer agrees to finalize the payment. PLEASE NOTE: After your payment is processed, you may see a Windows Security message asking if you want to see non-secure and secure items on the next webpage; please click YES to see the payment confirmation screen. This does NOT indicate a security problem, as your credit card number is NOT shown on that confirmation screen.
Taxpayers may continue to pay
current tax bills via mail, using the Treasurer's dropbox
at the County Complex, or
in person at the County Complex.
