All non-personal residential hauling, of waste to an Aiken County Landfill and to Three Rivers MSW Landfill for waste generated in Aiken County, must have an Aiken County landfill permit prior to delivering waste to the landfill. The permits are issued by the Public Works & Engineering Department in room 230 of the Aiken County Complex.
Required information for obtaining a new permit is as follows:
- $10.00 for each permit.
- Copy of each vehicle registration.
- Completed Application signed by owner of privately held business and corporations application signed by its authorized representative.
Required information for renewing a permit is as follows:
- $5.00 for each permit to be renewed.
- Copy of each vehicle registration whenever tag is replaced.
- Completed application whenever business location changes.
