The mission of the Aiken County Treasurer's Office is to deal with the citizens of Aiken County with respect and dignity, and to serve in our capacity with a willingness to assist in whatever manner will best accomplish our goals as set forth in State statute. All personnel shall be placed at the disposal of all who enter and will conduct themselves with honesty and integrity.
The duties of the Treasurer include receipt of property taxes, State shared revenues, federal funds, court fees and fines, County user fees and other funds collected by County agencies. The Treasurer is to hold those funds in interest bearing accounts, and to disburse said funds as required by State law and County ordinances. |
