The Solid Waste Division of the Public Works & Engineering Department provides facilities for the disposal of household, commercial, industrial, construction waste, and land clearing debris. This division provides resources and educational support for advancement of recycling programs throughout the County. It also coordinates the Adopt-a-Highway program to minimize roadside debris, and proper waste disposal through Litter Control policies.
