The Animal Services Division of the Public Works & Engineering Department operates and maintains the County Animal Shelter and enforces State laws regarding animal control.

The Aiken County Animal Shelter provides animal services for the unincorporated area of Aiken County.
 
The County Animal Shelter is located on Wire Road, just north of the Aiken SPCA.
