Johnny Walton Elected to GMIS International Board

Johnny Walton, Director of Information Technology, was elected to the board of GMIS International as 1st Vice President. The election was conducted during the GMIS International Conference, August 26, 2009. The First Vice President is also the President Elect. This means Johnny will become GMIS International President at the 2010 Conference in Atlanta next August. GMIS is an association of government IT representatives from over 400 government agencies from around the USA with affliations in other countries. GMIS will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2011. Congratulations Johnny Walton.
