Sheriff's Office plans to purchase mobile data terminals for patrol vehicles

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office plans to purchase the following equipment with funding from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant.

Mobile Data Terminals – 5 Mobile Data Terminal’s is needed for patrol vehicles for real time intelligence gathering thru Palmetto 800 NCIC.   This documentation used for investigations and court cases.

Public Hearing will be held at the Aiken County Council Building, 736 Richland Avenue, at 5:00 pm on July 21, 2009.  This grant will be on County Council consent agenda at 7:00 pm.
