ACSO Deputy Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle

Sergeant Jason L. Sheppard of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office died December 7 after being struck by a vhicle while he directed traffic at an industrial fire. Click here for ACSO press release.

Visitation for Sgt. Sheppard will be Sunday, December 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home, 715 Pine Log Road in Aiken. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, at Millbrook Baptist Church with internment at Berlin Baptist Church in Wagener.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, 420 Hampton Avenue, NE, Aiken, SC 29801 or the Berlin Baptist Church, 424 Crossthorne Road, Salley, SC 29137.
