Aiken County's first priority is the safety and well being of its citizens. It is the right of all citizens of Aiken County to know how their tax dollars are spent.

The Aiken County Government Week flyer illustrates the amount of money the county receives from tax collections. Contrary to popular opinion, Aiken County Government receives approximately one-third or 33% of each tax dollar. However, Aiken County funds and maintains many vital programs and services which benefit the citizens of Aiken County.

You can pick up an Aiken County Government Week flyer from any of the offices on the first floor of the County Complex, the Administrator's Office, or the Public Information Office in the County Council Building.
