RMC Implements New Indexing and Scanning System

June 14, 2005

Aiken County's Register of Mesne Conveyance (RMC) office has implemented a new document indexing and imaging system. The new system offers many benefits, including cost savings, reduced need for physical storage space, increased accuracy, and increased document security.

The new system also allows for faster and easier document searching. Moreover, because the documents are scanned and available for viewing immediately, documents cannot be lost.

Judith Warner, Registrar of Mesne Conveyance, is excited about the new system and has received numerous positive comments regarding the new system from customers in her office.

The RMC office is responsible for recording all tax liens and UCC financial statements, as well as all real estate documents in Aiken County.
